To support significant and continued growth, this distribution arm of this major NFL team needed to get away from customizing Dynamics AX, and move to a managed compliance EDI model, freeing up resources and monies for further business expansion. As a professional American football team and member of the East division of the National Football Conference in the National Football League, they discovered that their fans wanted more merchandise to be more readily available to them. This meant expanding the locations and trading partners where they were currently selling their products. In order to do this, they needed to stop customizing their ERP, Dynamics AX 2012, and move to an EDI solution which worked outside of the ERP, and would allow them to quickly and easily add the Trading Partners they needed to support customer demand.
