Dynamics 365 Consultant - US/Canada/Philippines

The Big Idea

The EDI Consultant position is responsible for solving complex business interactions by implementing EDI software developed by Data Masons to integrate transaction data with Microsoft ERP platforms as well as other business applications in advanced distribution and manufacturing environments. The Dynamics 365 specialist will be responsible for clients upgrading their ERP to Dynamics 365.

This is a fully remote role; you can be based anywhere in the U.S, Canada or the Philippines.

What You Know

  • ERP experience is a must - Dynamics 365 - preference given to F&O but Business Central is also needed
  • Retail product experience, heavy equipment or automotive supply chain experience is preferred
  • Intermediate SQL skills at a minimum are needed
  • Knowledge of EDI integration and EDI standards is important and will lessen the severity of your learning curve

What You'll Do

  • Your primary goals as a consultant consist of systems and solution analysis, implementation of projects as defined in detailed statements of work, problem identification, troubleshooting and resolution using advanced data transformation tools.
  • You will attend internal and customer meetings as required, execute technical and functional projects and generate documentation and statements of work.
  • You’ll be expected to maintain a high level of productivity by maintaining a consistent billability of 78% 
  • Because you’ll likely work multiple projects at once, you’ll need to manage your time effectively by monitoring internal workflow as well as project plans.
  • While most work can be done remotely, light travel will occasionally be needed. You can plan to attend our annual all-hands company meeting in Florida every January as well (most likely to be handled remotely in 2021).

Pre-Sales Engineer

The Big Idea

The Pre-Sales Engineer is a critical role within the Data Masons Team. As the first to fill these shoes, your responsibilies are big but so is the splash that you’ll make.

You’ll work closely with our sales team, who will rely on your technical and product expertise throughout the sales cycle. You will be an integral part of our customers’ success stories AND for our sales managers by performing technical discovery qualification, making architectural recommendations for the solution, delivering product demonstrations and PoCs, and troubleshooting technical configuration issues. Developer - Dynamics 365 BC/NAV

The Big Idea

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV Developer will use the latest technologies to develop BC/NAV and EDI integration solutions as part of the Data Masons Development team. You must have experience designing solutions in a Business Central and NAV environment, and must be proficient in AL, Visual Studio Code, Git, NAV Development with C/Side, and Azure.

This is a fully remote role; you can be based anywhere in the U.S. or in the Philippines.

What You Know

The following experience is required for this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or applicable field
  • 3-5 years of experience in NAV with Dynamics 365 Business Central experience
  • Experience deploying code in multiple environments
  • Experience using Agile software development methodologies
  • Experience using Source Code Control Management (SVN, TFS, Visual Source Safe, etc.)
  • Experience with the integration of NAV/BC with other applications including experience with ODATA and web services

D365/AX Developer & Entity Team Manager - USA

The Big Idea

This is a leadership as well as individual contributor role. The AX/D365 Developer Manger will use the latest technologies to develop AX and EDI integration solutions as part of the Data Masons Development team. They must have experience designing solutions in a Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 environment as well as traditional non-AX specific environments and be proficient in X++, SSRS, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and XML.

In addition, this person will lead a team of AX and Dynamics D365 developers and help each developer achieve their objectives on a day to day basis.

  • Promote best practices and knowledge transfer between team members
  • Promote knowledge transfer between departments
  • Manage resources effectively and maintain adequately trained staff levels to support demand
  • Ensure Data Masons AX/D365 development meets the objective of efficient integration while utilizing the simplest approach possible with the least amount of AX/D365 code
  • Lead, mentor, and develop staff to improve skill sets and promote professional development growth

Managed Services Team Lead - US or Philippines

The Big Idea

The Managed Services Team Lead is responsible for providing direction, instruction and guidance for a group of EDI Specialists within the Managed Services Team. In this role, you will coordinate with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience. The responsibilities include account management through effective communication with both internal team members and customers.

This is a remote working opportunity; candidates must be based in the United States or the Philippines. Working hours expected to be 11:30 – 8:30 EST.

Senior EDI Support Specialist - USA

The Big Idea

The EDI Support Specialist is responsible for providing excellent technical support for customers of Data Masons software by researching customer support incidents and providing sound solutions in a timely manner. Additionally, these team members will produce reference materials and deliver technical instruction to other team members as needed.

This is a fully remote role; you can be based anywhere in the United States

What You Know

What You'll Do

  • Technical Support: EDI Support Specialists are expected to document, and track issues logged in our support ticketing system. Coordinating efforts with other team members is often required to resolve issues in compliance with our published SLAs. This team member is expected to research issues, perform root cause analysis and ultimately resolution, or in some cases escalation.
  • Productivity: EDI Support Specialists are expected to resolve an average of 80 support tickets per month. These numbers will vary based on customer demand and complexity of issue and will be adjusted if needed. Total number of hours spent per ticket will be monitored to determine complexity of tickets being resolved and time used/needed to resolve.
  • Service: EDI Support Specialists are expected to provide outstanding quality service to our customers. Quality service is measured by positive customer feedback, customers willing to server as a Data Masons reference, customers willing to provide a written or video success story and conversely by complaints.
  • Customer Communications: This person is expected to effectively communicate in writing and orally. This includes timely responses to inquiries, proactive follow-up, clear and truthful explanations of our work and our solution. Proper documentation for historical purposes is required.
  • Time/Workflow Management: This person is expected to manage their time effectively and monitor workflow to ensure customer and colleague needs are met. Workflows should be properly documented for historical reference and visibility to status and solution.

Director, Cloud Architecture - USA

The Big Idea

Our Director of Cloud Architecture, a newly created role to accommodate our substantial growth, will lead our organization through the forests of DM Cloud 2.0. You’ll find answers and solutions to questions and build the house while we’re living in it. You’ll live at the epicenter of Engineering, DevOps, IT and Delivery. You’ll create a vision, lead the charge and drive the change.

This is a 100% remote role, so you can be based anywhere U.S or Canada.

What You'll Do

You’ll work closely with engineering, DevOps, IT and Delivery in defining, planning and realizing our Enterprise cloud strategy and transformation. Your action words are LEAD, PLAN, DESIGN & EXECUTE.

Your vision for our future and your ability to implement your ideas will ensure our infrastructure will support our current business and lead us forward. Your thought leadership will influence all of us to rethink routine, embrace cloud-native principles and drive adoption of Cloud services.

               SPECIFICS:

·        Focus on building and recommending a migration approach to lift and shift workloads to Azure

·        Architect and maintain a secure, robust and Azure-based platform

·        Manage risk and compliance initiatives

·        Design automation of infrastructure as a service

·        Recommend and implement Disaster Recovery and business continuity best practices

What You Know

You’ll need incredible depth of experience architecting in Azure environments end-to-end. You’ve had to build a migration approach to shift workloads to Azure in the past. You have network integration experience with Azure Express route integration and network design (LAN/WAN/Firewalls). You have hands-on containerization experience with either Kubernetes or Docker. You have a thorough background with general infrastructure components (networking, server platforms, storage, application structure etc.) You’re an expert with SQL Server and with IIS configuration.
