Support Dispatcher

Department: EDI Support

Summary: The Dispatcher is responsible for processing inbound customer requests and ensuring excellent service for Data Masons customers. The Dispatcher will assist with acknowledging receipt of requests with clients, reviewing requests to ensure all needed information was provided and directing inbound requests to the correct staff and/or department. The Dispatcher will also handle inbound calls to the support line and assist with status updates and escalations.

Essential Functions:

  • Customer Communications: The Dispatcher is expected to effectively communicate in writing and orally.  This includes timely responses to new requests to ensure compliance with Data Masons SLA, assist with gathering all needed information, answer status questions and help with escalating urgent and high priority requests.  Dispatcher will answer inbound calls from client and assist with basic questions.

  • Inbound Customer Requests: The Dispatcher is expected to review all inbound requests and ensure they are directed to the correct staff and/or departments in-order for Data Masons to provide quick responses and timely resolves. They will review customer history and client notes to ensure current request/s are not part of an existing request, part of a project and/or require special care.  The Dispatcher will research the knowledgebase articles and send any related articles to clients in-order to assist with troubleshooting while they wait for the next available Tier 1 specialist to assist.

  • Direction: The Dispatcher is expected to direct certain inbound requests to different departments and/or staff. This includes the following:
    • Tier 1 escalations
    • Basic map changes to the Mapping Team
    • VAN and RSSBus Support to the VAN and RSSBus Support Teams
    • Sales related requests to the Sales Team
    • Basic Installation and Server/Networking questions to the Installation Team
    • UDT Support to the UDT Support Team
    • Open Project requests to the Consulting and PM Teams

  • Service: The Dispatcher is expected to provide outstanding quality service to our customers.  Quality service is measured by positive customer feedback, customers willing to serve as a Data Masons reference, customers willing to provide a written or video success story and conversely by complaints. 

 

  • Time/Workflow Management: The Dispatcher is expected to manage their time effectively and monitor workflow to ensure customer and colleague needs are met.  Workflows should be properly documented for historical reference and visibility to status and solution.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Managed Services Team Lead

Summary: The Managed Services Team Lead is responsible for providing direction, instruction and guidance for a group of EDI Specialists within the Managed Services Team. In this role, you will coordinate with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience. The responsibilities include account management through effective communication with both internal team members and customers.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts

EDI Consultant (US/Canada)

Status: Full-time

Job Description:

The EDI Consultant position is responsible for solving complex business interactions by implementing EDI software developed by Data Masons to integrate transaction data with Microsoft ERP platforms as well as other business applications in advanced distribution and manufacturing environments.

Essential Functions:

  • Consulting: This role is an individual contributor role and is expected to perform tasks that include systems and solution analysis, implementation of projects as defined in detailed statements of work, problem identification, troubleshooting and resolution using advanced data transformation tools. The candidate will attend internal and customer meetings as required, execute technical and functional projects and generate documentation and statements of work. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with C-level stakeholders as well as business users. The ability to manage time effectively as a consultant may work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Consultants are expected to be productive by billing 78% of their available capacity which is 40 hours per a normal 5-day work week. Work times are Monday – Friday except in occasional circumstances requiring weekend work.

Software Engineer

Who We Are:

Who you are:

You have a solid background in full stack development on the Microsoft platform.  Once you learn the nuances of the application or the project you are self-sufficient.  You are an expert in C# and SQL.  You may not be an expert, but you are familiar with IIS, VB.NET, VB6 as well as Azure.  A nice to have would be a basic understanding of React, Bootstrap, Reacstrap, Angular or a similar framework but it is not necessary.  You are open to the ideas of others.  You can effectively communicate with your technical peers as well as non-technical co-workers.  You love a challenge and ultimately solving problems.  Above all else you take pride in your work work and pay attention to the details.

Support Team Lead

Department: EDI Support

Reports To:  Customer Support Manager

Summary:

The Support Team Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating staff and resources to help provide excellent advanced high-level technical support for customers of Data Masons Software.   The Support Team Lead will also assist with processing support issues and providing sound solutions in a timely manner.  Additionally, this role will be responsible for producing reference materials and delivering technical instruction to other team members as needed.

  • Customer Satisfaction: Support Team Lead is responsible to ensure customer satisfaction and that their team is delivering excellent technical support and quick/quality turn-around of requests. This will be accomplished by mentoring staff, monitoring client requests and being a point of escalation for clients.  Customer Satisfaction is measured by ensuring staff meets Data Masons SLA, positive customer feedback, customers willing to serve as a Data Masons reference, customers willing to provide a written or video success story and conversely by complaints. 

  • Team Leadership: Support Team Lead is expected to work closely with the Customer Support Manager to help carry out and attain the company mission and goals of the Support Department.  This will include but not limited to the following:

  • Technical Support: Support Team Lead is expected to assist with processing inbound support requests from customers, Consulting group, Managed Services, and other internal staff/departments.  These functions are (not limited to) troubleshooting of DM EDI application packages, SQL data analysis, working with development team to resolve code issues, and other troubleshooting of the DM EDI products.  All Support Staff are also expected to document, and track issues logged in our support ticketing system.  Coordinating efforts with other team members is often required to resolve issues in compliance with our published SLAs.  All Support Staff members are expected to research issues, perform root cause analysis and ultimately resolution, or in some cases escalation. 

 

  • Customer Communications: Support Team Lead is expected to effectively communicate in writing and orally.  This includes timely responses to inquiries, proactive follow-up, clear and truthful explanations of our work and our solution.  Proper documentation for historical purposes is required.

 

  • Time/Workflow Management: Support Team Lead is expected to manage their time effectively and monitor workflow to ensure customer and colleague needs are met.  Workflows should be properly documented for historical reference and visibility to status and solution.
