Microsoft's WPC 2013 Recap of Major Announcements and Opportunities for Microsoft Partner Network

Back in the office with WPC 2013 under my belt. For those of you that were unable to attend and need a recap, check out the following resources to get more insight into the themes of the week and the announcements made that will impact the Microsoft Partner Network:
  1. Video: WPC 2013 Day 1 Vision Keynote:
    WPC 2013 opens with Worldwide Partner Group CVP Jon Roskill welcoming Microsoft partners to Houston. Steve Ballmer spoke about Microsoft past and future, followed by Tami Reller, CVP and CFO, Windows and Windows Live, providing updates and demos of Windows 8.1. Finally, Satya Nadella, President of Server and Tools, spoke about the enterprise.
  2. Video: WPC 2013 Highlights Day #2
    Day two of the 2013 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Houston Texas has come to a close but not until the day's venue saw 14,000 plus attendees taking in over 130 sessions, and interactive discussions. It really is an experience you have to see to believe.

    If there is any truth to the old adage “Time flies when you’re having fun,” then these last 3 days of the 2013 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference would be the perfect case in point… as would the new idiom “Business happens at WPC.” We've had a chance to meet with partners from around the world and that's exactly what they’re saying.
  4. Julie Bennani, General Manager, Microsoft Partner Network talked about Partnering in a New World on her blog.
  5. Laura K. Ipsen, Corporate Vice President, Worldwide Public Sector discussed Microsoft's new strategic initiative called CityNext.
