EDI Consultant (PHP)

Status: Full-time / Exempt

Job Description:

The EDI Consultant position is responsible for solving complex business interactions by implementing EDI software developed by Data Masons to integrate transaction data with Microsoft ERP platforms as well as other business applications in advanced distribution and manufacturing environments.  

Essential Functions:

  • Consulting: This role is an individual contributor role and is expected to perform tasks that include systems and solution analysis, implementation of projects as defined in detailed statements of work, problem identification, troubleshooting and resolution using advanced data transformation tools. The candidate will attend internal and customer meetings as required, execute technical and functional projects and generate documentation and statements of work. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with C-level stakeholders as well as business users. The ability to manage time effectively as a consultant may work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Consultants are expected to be productive by billing 78% of their available capacity which is 40 hours per a normal 5-day work week. Work times are Monday – Friday except in occasional circumstances requiring weekend work.

  • Communication Skills: This consultant is expected to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Distribution oriented ERP integration experience is required – Microsoft Dynamics AX, Dynamics NAV, or Dynamics 365 experience preferred but not necessary
  • Consumer and retail oriented product experience, heavy equipment or automotive supply chain experience preferred.

EDI Support and SQL Specialist

Status: Full-time

Summary:

The EDI Support and SQL Specialist is responsible for providing excellent tier 1 level support to the customers of Data Masons software for all Vantage Point Software packages. They will provide support by researching customer incidents and providing sound solutions in a timely manner. Additionally, these team members will produce reference materials and deliver technical instruction to other team members as needed. The additional function of this position is to assist with Internal Support Assistance requests for SQL scripting, Vantage Point SQL App Triggers, SQL Views, Data Analysis, and other SQL related requests..  

Essential Functions:

    • SQL Functions:
    • SQL Script creation, troubleshooting, maintenance and upgrading
    • Maintain the Vantage Point Application Trigger Archive
    • Communication Skills: This consultant is expected to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
    • SQL View creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
    • SQL Stored Procedures and Functions creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
    • Assistance with installation and updating of current client setups
    • Assistance with Data Analysis for setup and troubleshooting SQL scripting and data related setup/issues
    • Other SQL related requests via Internal Support Assistance
      • Technical Support:
      • EDI Support and SQL Specialist are expected to document and track issues logged in our support ticketing system. Coordinating efforts with other team members is often required to resolve issues in compliance with our published SLAs. This team member is expected to research issues, perform root cause analysis and ultimately resolution, or in some cases escalation
      • Productivity:
      • EDI Support and SQL Specialist are expected to resolve an average of 80 Tier 1 support tickets and Internal Support Assistance per month. These numbers will vary based on customer demand and complexity of issue and will be adjusted if needed. Total number of hours spent per ticket will be monitored to determine complexity of tickets being resolved and time used/needed to resolve.
      • Service:
      • EDI Support and SQL Specialist are expected to provide outstanding quality service to our customers. Quality service is measured by positive customer feedback, customers willing to serve as a Data Masons reference, customers willing to provide a written or video success story and conversely by complaints.
      • Customer Communications::
      • EDI Support and SQL Specialist is expected to manage their time effectively and monitor workflow to ensure customer and colleague needs are met. Workflows should be properly documented for historical reference and visibility to status and solution.

Managed Services Specialist (PHP)

Job Description:

The Managed Services Specialist partners with Data Masons customers by serving as their EDI Coordinator with unique expertise in EDI and Vantage Point. The Specialist’s goal is to provide the high level of service achieved when expertise, resources, and teamwork are applied in a tightly integrated customer relationship.  

Essential Functions:

      • Acting as EDI Coordinator
      • Apply Vantage Point expertise to ensure excellent EDI process performance
      • Respond to EDI transaction faults to minimize business impact
      • Effectively manage EDI events with proper classification and prioritization
      • Rely on structured problem solving methods to efficiently troubleshoot/solution
      • Become the trusted advisor for EDI stakeholders

Partner Alliance Manager

Status: Full-time / Exempt

Job Description:

The Partner Alliance Manager, you will work with our sales, marketing, and services organizations to increase brand awareness, build professional relationships, and drive revenue growth for Data Masons through new partner relationships.  

Essential Functions:

      • Managing relationships with partners to promote Vantage Point EDI
      • Evaluating and Recruiting new and strategic Partners that align with Data Masons’ vision
      • Driving sales and engineering training and enablement efforts to ensure our compliance with partner programs, certification requirements, incentives, discounting structures, and other benefits
      • Facilitating relationships between the partners sales & marketing team and the Data Masons' sales & marketing team in order to drive the sales process
      • Arrange Demonstrations/Webinars/Lunch & Learns for Internal Sales/Consulting Teams/Customers for designated partners
      • Executing joint customer sales calls with Data Masons and our partner sales teams to uncover opportunities, recommend appropriate solutions and grow pipeline
      • Managing and facilitating partner deal registrations
      • Building relationships with key stakeholders within our partner organizations
      • Engage with Partners at tradeshows, conferences and networking events

Technical Deployment Specialist

Status: Full-time / Exempt

Job Description:

The Technical Deployment Specialist is a client facing role that is responsible for installation and technical configuration of Data Masons software in client environments. Individual will work with other team members, including Technical Support, Project Management and Consulting teams to install, configure, and implement the software requirements.  

Essential Functions:

      • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
      • Installation of Data Masons software in customer environments, this can include installation/configuration of EDI standards, scheduler and email forwarding
      • Develop documentation of multiple customer environments (Dev, Prod-Test, Prod)
      • Perform upgrades of Data Masons software in multiple customer environments
      • Complete server moves of Data Masons software and assist customers who move their ERP software to new servers
      • Participate in troubleshooting activities in multiple environments. This can include issues with Microsoft Windows OS (Server and Workstation), Security (OS & SQL), Firewall, Data Masons software (Vantage Point, Scheduler, EDIDOM, etc.), performance issues
      • Participate in setup and troubleshooting of network connections, including Secure FTP, AS2 and RSSBus, and folder exchange
      • Review customer environments to verify they are ready and compliant for installation, upgrade or migration
      • Work with some of the newest Microsoft technologies, including Operating Systems, SQL Servers and Cloud environments

Work Environment:

This job operates in an in home office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such
as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee is expected to provide
a high speed internet connection that allows for use of tools such as Citrix, VoIP phone and WebEx.

Physical Demands:

This is largely a sedentary role.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Hours are flexible based on work load.

Travel:

Minimal travel is expected for this position. Travel for the annual company meeting and initial training is
required. Additional travel for onsite customer requirements may be required as needed.
