If you're considering a move to Dynamics 365 for Operations, are you prepared for the impact on your EDI integration strategy?

Most organizations that process EDI in Dynamics AX utilize embedded code to handle EDI. Changes like the elimination of the AIF and the introduction of the public cloud option will raise critical new challenges for Dynamics 365 customers.

Watch this on-demand webcast, hosted by MSDynamicsWorld.com, as the experts at Data Masons share experiences successfully integrating EDI data into Dynamics 365 for Operations while streamlining related processes. Companies that do not yet have integrated EDI for Dynamics AX but are considering it for Dynamics 365 can also learn about best practices that have improved other companies’ deployments.

Glenn McPeak, Principal at Data Masons, discussed:

    • The expanded integration opportunities introduced in the Dynamics 365 for Operations platform can improve efficiency and open up new integration opportunities.
    • How the Dynamics 365 cloud-based, entity driven integration model perfectly fits the Data Masons integration framework.
    • How to manage the upgrade process including planning and budgeting for Dynamics AX Users running Vantage Point EDI.

Meet the Newest Data Masons' Team Member at Directions EMEA in Madrid Oct 4-6, 2017

Dear member,

Many thanks for visiting this page. Here and in other posts you will find useful information about the automation of business to business transactions for our European friends and partners.

Whether the transactions are done with EDI, EDIFACT, XML, other industry specific protocols or custom formats, we offer deep experience and know how to help firms reliably make high volume transactions with suppliers, partners, and other business entities without customizations to their Dynamics ERP platform.

We have many years of success helping firms grow their businesses, and increasingly we are helping firms migrate faster to Dynamics 365 while simplifying their eCommerce strategy.

Data Masons is now open for business in EMEA. We will initially set up operations to help Microsoft partners plan, build, and drive robust B2B interfaces for their clients. This will allow us to grow our presence in Europe and help firms with local expertise.

Our participation in Directions EMEA will be to inform partners and consultants across EMEA about our unique and compelling approach to B2B and B2C business integration, and provide recommendations on how to help their clients.

You can also be assured that we are here for the long run. I’ve taken the role as General Manager EMEA after successfully building other businesses in EMEA including Microsoft online services such as Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business that are part of Office 365 today.

I’m looking forward to reconnecting with former Microsoft colleagues and meeting new ones across France, Germany, United Kingdom, Western Europe, CEE, and MEA.

I invite you to reach out to me during the event for an informal talk over your B2B initiatives, or just learn more about Data Masons.

I’m looking forward to it.  Have a great event!

Sincerely,

Larry D. Velez
General Manager EMEA

ImINaxugsummitIt’s been 7 months since we convened in St. Louis for a fantastic AXUG Summit event, meaning in just 5 short months we’ll have the opportunity to reconvene in Reno, NV, Oct. 13th-16th, for AXUG Summit 2015. If you haven’t already registered, hopefully hearing what other attendees have to say about their previous experiences can help make your decision easier.

In the most recent edition of the AXUG Magazine, AXUG provided two different attendee perspectives, one from an end user and one from an ISV sponsor (pg 66). I was excited to offer my two cents regarding the value of the conference, especially since I’ve been attending from its inception and in the past 5 years, have been supporting Data Masons’ role as a Premiere sponsor.

AXUG Mag 2015 Q1

Last year there was so much to discuss around Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 and how Data Masons’ Dynamics AX EDI solutions can support the evolving landscape of the ERP, especially as Microsoft commits to a more frequent product roll-out schedule. It was also the first time that we asked our customers to share their Microsoft Dynamics AX EDI integration experiences with attendees during our partner showcases. It’s part of what makes Summit so valuable for customers, when they can hear stories by other users who may have a similar requirement, and be able to hear the good, the bad and ask unscripted questions and get real answers.

Having partners and end users work together to share knowledge and experiences with the community is a significant benefit of attending the Summits. That’s why it’s critical we share our Summit experiences and help build a stronger, broader network of community members working together.

“I’M IN” at AXUG Summit 2015 and hope to see you there! Checkout the 2015 Q1 AXUG Magazine online edition for more of my perspective and read an end user’s perspective on the event.

Hashtags 2015The life expectancy of a hashtag is unpredictable, and like any online community, the Microsoft Dynamics community has won some and lost some. In 2014 we said goodbye to #GPAirlift2014 but welcomed #reImagine2014. We excitedly watched ERP version specific hashtags wane as Microsoft introduced its latest versions. And then there are always our old standbys, which we find ourselves typing frequently and see our colleagues using all the time. So it’s a little bit of out with the old and in with new, mixed with some old faithfuls that gives us this year’s popular hashtags for the Microsoft Dynamics Community:
