Day 2 of the Dynamics AX Tech Conference provided a jam-packed morning keynote that covered a number of topics centered around People, Process and Technology and how each were important to a successful ERP implementation.
Speakers included Steve Weiskircher Chairman and CIO at Fanatics, Inc., who talked about the company’s recent migration to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. Weiskircher discussed the challenges that they faced and the success along the way.
Following Weiskircher, Tao Wang, Group Program Manager at Microsoft, presented the upcoming lifecycle services tool that will be made available soon. The tool provides project planning aides to help guide users through the full lifecycle of an implementation. With its Window 8 “metro” appearance it focuses on improving the process of the implementation. The customizable process flows make sure that no step is forgotten. It is currently in beta and is anticipated to be available in the first half of 2013.
