In a few days many of us partners in the GP community will be kicking off the GP Partner Connections 2011 Conference in Vegas.  I’m extremely excited about this year’s event, given the rise in registrations over last year  and the fact I’ll be presenting alongside  some of my other GP colleagues, Mark Polino of I.B.I.S. and Quentin Martin of Tectura.

Together with Mark and Quentin, I invite you to join us at the following sessions during Connections:

Leveraging Your Online Presence to Turn Lost Opportunities into Wins
Presented by Mark Polino, I.B.I.S. & Jon Rivers, Data Masons

Sunday, November 6th; Workshop

In this session, VAR and ISV attendees will learn the value of social media in building relationships, reputations and sales pipelines within the Dynamics community and how to execute a social media plan step-by-step.

Are You Making or Breaking Your ISV / VAR Relationship?
Presented by Jon Rivers, Data Masons & Quentin Martin, Tectura
Monday, November 7th; Roundtable

ISVs and VARs continually re-position themselves to align with Microsoft’s strategy. However, to keep your partnerships on track, both in creating advocacy and closing business, it’s imperative to understand each others’ expectations. This session will provide clarity on common dilemmas that need resolution in order to maximize partner relationships.

I look forward to seeing familiar faces on Sunday and connecting with new colleagues as well.  Safe travels to everyone making the trip to Vegas – it’s going to be a great event!
