Preparing for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013: Highlights from Microsoft Dynamics GP Partners

GPUG Winter 2013 CoverIn the latest edition of the GPUG Magazine, the GPUG team reached out to four experts in the Microsoft Dynamics GP Partner community to see what they’re most looking forward to with regard to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013. Data Masons was in good company with Bob McAdam of Dynamic Communities, Jeff Smith of Socius and Kurt Quiggle of InterDyn BMI.

Here's what I had to say:

MOST EXCITING FEATURE IN MICROSOFT DYNAMICS GP 2013?
Many to choose from, but “Choose Printer at Time of Printing” really hit home with me.

WHY ARE YOU SO EXCITED?
Printing inconveniences can potentially lead to lost or delayed documents, which can have significant consequences on business operations. I don’t know how Users have lived without it!

WHY SHOULD USERS BE EXCITED?
Selecting a printer gives Users additional fl exibility instead of locking them into one printer on their network.

WHAT’S YOUR ADVICE FOR THE UPGRADE TO MICROSOFT DYNAMICS GP 2013?
A critical step during any implementation or upgrade is to ask, “Do my ISV solutions align with Microsoft’s strategy for the ERP?” If they don’t, then I encourage you to take a look at other technology investments for both shortand long-term success.

Check out what Bob, Jeff and Kurt's favorite new GP 2013 features are in the GPUG Magazine Winter 2013 Edition!
